About

We are the University of Pennsylvania chapter of a global network of Google Developer Groups on Campus powered by Google. GDGs on Campus are university based community groups for students interested in Google developer technologies. Students from all undergraduate or graduate programs with an interest in growing as a developer are welcome. By joining a GDG on Campus, students grow their knowledge in a peer-to-peer learning environment and build solutions for local businesses and their community.

Our mission is to help students identify relevant, forward-looking objectives, solve live problems, learn a wide range of technical tools, and bridge the gap between theory vs. practice, while meeting other members to create teams with comparable goals. We will be holding technical workshops on a variety of topics, creating partnerships with other leading campus student clubs, and broadening the horizons of members.

Google's mission statement is “to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful.” We encourage universal ESG and DEI understandings in full compliance with Google's mission, especially when dealing with cutting-edge tools such as AI-driven solutions.
