GDG Lisbon – Technology with Purpose, Community with Impact

We are a vibrant, volunteer-led community where tech enthusiasts, students, researchers, designers, product professionals, and others come together to share, learn, and grow.

We're part of the global Google Developer Groups (GDG) program

• A network with over 600 chapters and GDG Lisbon is one of the many active groups in Portugal, organizing inclusive, impactful, and free events since 2010.

• From tech talks and hands-on workshops to DevFest, Build with AI, and Women Techmakers events, we foster inclusive spaces to explore:

• Google and open-source technologies (Android, Flutter, Firebase, Google Cloud, AI)

• Topics like neurodiversity in tech, accessibility, sustainable innovation, and ethical development

Networking with Lisbon’s local tech ecosystem and global developer communities

We run open and free meetups, workshops, conferences, and global initiatives like:

• DevFest (our biggest annual developer conference)

• Build with AI (bringing real AI tools to the community)

• Women Techmakers (advancing visibility, participation & leadership of women in tech)
