The Google Developer Group (GDG) Sydney is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run organisation supported by Google, but it is not directly under the company. GDG Sydney supports community, collaboration, and craft. A tech community that organises events like monthly meetups, Build with AI events, and full-day conferences like Google I/O Extended and Devfest.
These events are designed to foster collaboration among community members, enabling them to grow their craft by learning while supporting Google’s technologies and adhering to the GDG Code of Conduct. All of our events are open to all; we welcome attendees from all levels of experience. Most of the events are free of charge, and even if there is a cost, we offer a discounted ticket for students.
