About the Hackathon: Build a strong community of engineers who are eager and ready to tinker with Kora APIs on others to build revolutionary products for African businesses. The hackathon also serves as a safe space for coders to share ideas & knowledge, stay up to date with tech trends and improve on necessary skills needed to solve real-life tech-related problems. Aim of the Hackathon: Who Can Participate: Junior, intermediate developers, and tech enthusiasts. Hackathon Prizes: Day 1 - March 19th, 2023 | Kickoff and Ideation : Introduction and kick-off event to get participants excited and informed about the hackathon. Ideation session where participants connect, create teams and brainstorm ideas and form teams. Participants Team registration via Google Sheet Day 2 - Day 5 March 20th, 2023 | Design and Planning : Teams finalize their ideas and begin designing the solution. Teams begin planning out their approach, setting milestones and identifying what resources they'll need. Participants Team registration via Google Sheet Teams start coding their solution. Day 6 - March 24th, 2023 | Development Proper : Teams start coding their solution. Teams continue coding and working on their solution. Participants Team registration via Google Sheet Day 7 - March 25th, 2023 | Development and Testing : Teams continue coding and start testing their solution. Teams continue testing and refining their solution. Day 8 - Day 10 March 26th, 2023 | Finishing touches and Submission : Teams wrap up development and testing. Final testing and quality assurance checks. Submit project before deadline Day 11 - March 29th, 2023 | Presentation and Judging Teams prepare their final presentation. Teams present their solutions to judges and answer questions. Day 12 - March 30th, 2023 | Award and Closing Ceremony Judges deliberate and choose the winners. Award ceremony and closing event to celebrate the hackathon and its participants.
