Solution Area Specialist For Digital & Application Innovation
Education is at my core. Before coming to Google, I had over 20 years of experience in the teaching and learning space as both a practitioner and researcher. I’ve taught middle school science, implemented social-emotional learning programs, conducted policy research on student loans, and created online compliance courses. These diverse topics and end-users have also fueled my want to learn more about the world and my community.
As an only child and self-proclaimed introvert, I now have family around the world and a partner who supports my adventures. After 7 moves in 7 years, we now call San Francisco home and we share a pug named Pug, and a tuxedo cat named Frank_as_in_Zappa. Pre-Covid my mathematician/musician husband worked from home and watched the animals, while I tried to reach my goal of visiting 100 countries – currently at 48. Until my solo travels can safely resume I maintain a small garden, shop for homes I obviously can’t afford, and take random go/grow classes on the weekends.
