The Google Developer Student Club joined forces with Base Chain to host an engaging workshop on Web3 and blockchain development. The session introduced students to the fundamentals of blockchain, the key differences between Web2 and Web3, and provided a step-by-step guide to building decentralized apps on Base, Coinbase’s Layer-2 solution. Participants also got insights into Web3 hackathons and how to get involved. To top it off, all attendees received exclusive Base merchandise, GDSC mugs for quiz winners, and delicious food from Ranchers—making the learning experience fun, informative, and rewarding.
