He developed an early fascination for technology and since then has always been on a quest to learn, share, and innovate. He loves to share the experience and learnings of the products and services with the community to inspire them to build a better future. He has vast experience in Voice computing, AR/VR, Machine Learning, Cloud, IoT, mobile, web, and more. He also has experience building solutions for the Healthcare industry and responsible for building and providing a National Hypertension Program in the United States. Recognized as an expert in technology and leadership, invited by world-class institutes and startup accelerators to participate in public lectures, mentorship, and training.
Amrik joined Google Cloud in the United Kingdom, and recently transferred to the MENA team to bring his expertise to the region. He has over a decade of experience working with customers on architecting and leading deployments of cloud-native applications and platforms. Amrik is a passionate developer who has worked closely with startups and enterprise organizations, advising them on the adoption of cloud-native technologies.
Omar Alayli is a Customer Engineer(CE) with Google Cloud, Qatar focusing on Infrastructure Modernization, Networking, and Security. He holds several certifications in Networking and Security including Google Professional Network Engineer (PCNE) and Google Professional Security Engineer (PCSE). Prior to joining Google, Omar was a Senior Cloud Architect with iSolutions, one of Google Cloud’s Premier Partners in the MENA region. Omar’s security focus includes Google Cloud’s Autonomic Security Operations (ASO) framework, Chronicle SIEM and Chronicle SOAR, MITRE ATT&CK, and Penetration Testing. He also holds an MSc in Telecommunications and Software from the University of Surrey (UniS), UK, and an Executive MBA from ESCP Europe, Paris, France.
