The theme for this year's International Women's Day is "Dare to Be," which encourages women to be bold and take risks in pursuing their goals and aspirations. The theme emphasizes the importance of self-belief, self-expression, and the freedom to be who you are, without fear of judgment or discrimination. By daring to be themselves, women can challenge societal norms, break down gender stereotypes, and create a more inclusive and diverse world. To promote women in technical fields, a key focus of International Women's Day is to provide training and support for women to acquire technical skills. This includes workshops, panel discussions, and training sessions on topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Public Speaking and Negotiation Skills, Panel Discussions on Women in Business and Tech, as well as networking opportunities with industry leaders. Equipping women with these technical skills can empower them to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields, helping to bridge the gender gap in these traditionally male-dominated industries.
