Enthusiastic Android Engineer who loves to talk and work on Kotlin, Android, Pixel and Jetpack Compose.
A Product Designer by vocation and a 10x Designer by ambition, Sandeep Baskaran has around 3.5 years of experience in the field of Product Design. A self-starter with a keen interest in Mindful & Impact Design, he’s currently designing solutions for Gallabox, a conversation workspace for SMBs that provides a holistic, collaborative dashboard combining customer communications from WhatsApp, email, live chat and other channels.
Apart from his primary design work, he’s also a Mentor for design aspirants/beginners on ADPList. His special focus with mentorship is on the folks that are looking for a career switch to UI/UX Design, for they’re the ones that could use relatively more guidance about the line of work. He has been recognized as one of the Most Beloved Mentors for the year 2022 as part of #ADPList100—he spent more than 6000 mentorship minutes for mentees from around 10+ countries. Being a City Ambassador for ADPList, he also organises events across product and design ecosystems.
Aside from spreading the knowledge himself, he’s also wanted to enhance his organizational skills. To that end, he's become a Figma Community Advocate to coordinate and manage Friends of Figma's Chennai Chapter. He also became a LottieFiles Community Organizer for the city to host some interesting sessions on Motion Design & Animation.
