As we know, “True liberty lies in hard work”.

International Workers day is approaching and it's notably an auspicious day when workers celebrate their achievements and unite as one to show their impact on this outpacing world.

To compound and enlarge their works into advancement, the Women Techmakers Chennai chapter is collaborating with GDSC SRM Ramapuram to organize an event to celebrate the International Workers Day 2022. We have observed that a lot of our workers carry smartphones with them but are unaware of all the features that their phones could do to make their life and work easier, convenient and efficient. #WorkersDayWithGoogle

Workers are the people who constantly strive to make the country better and prosperous with their hard work and contributions to society. Indubitably, every worker is a creator and a valuable asset to every nation.

So, as a part of this event, we are going to be teaching the workers in Chennai more about the commonly accessible Google technologies which are in use to make people’s life uncomplicated such as G-Pay, G-Maps, YouTube, Contacts, News, Translate and a lot more about the basic features available on their mobile phones. #GoogleForAll

The event is going to take place for 2 days on the 27th and 28th of April from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Amma Arangam in Anna Nagar.

We're a group of 35 volunteers looking forward to helping around 100 workers through this initiative!

And we would be targeting around 50 workers on average on either of the days.

The Chennai Corporation has been kind enough about this and gave us permission to make this event a success and a beneficial one.
