Hey Everyone! We're extremely excited to kick things off in 2025 after a brief 2 month hiatus with some really exciting announcements for Flutter Austin!!

First, I wanted to introduce our newest member of the organizer team, Mike Miller. You might recognize Mike if you were a regular attendee to Meetups last year.

Mike is extremely involved in the Austin Tech Meetup scene having run events like TED Talko Tuesday, Musical Mondays, and Wearable Wednesdays. He is also a MASSIVE Flutter fan and great engineer. Ecstatic to have you aboard Mike!

Second, we’re happy to announce we’ve been approved to host our monthly recurring Flutter Meetup at Capital Factory starting in April! This means we’ll have the setup we need to bring in awesome speakers from across the world to deliver tech talks on all things Flutter. HUGE!

Because we can’t spin things up until April, we’ll be hosting 2 Meetups for February and March at Central Machine Works as a “Happy Hour Hangout” to get the gang back together.

We are going to plan on running 2 monthly recurring Meetups starting in April. On the first Monday of each month, we're going to do Tech Talks at the Capital Factory. On the last Thursday of each month, we'll do a Happy Hour at another location.

I know schedules are crazy, so this gives everyone 2 chances each month to attend an event...each being different in their theme. Whatever flavor/time suits you best (hopefully both)!
