Historically Android development wasn't so great. Writing an Android app meant lots of boilerplate  and writing the same types of classes over and over and over. Thankfully, things are much better now. In recent years Google and the Android community have really stepped up to create tools and open source libraries that take care of many things, allowing you to focus on writing the fun code. In this talk we'll cover some of the best tools and libraries out there, and allow you to weigh in on your favorites as well!
