About this event

Join Women Techmakers Ebonyi in celebrating International Women’s Day (IWD) 2025! We are so proud to host this global annual event, the very first of it's kind in WTM Ebonyi, uniting tech professionals, industry leaders, students, and enthusiasts to celebrate, learn, and inspire one another. This event serves as a platform to empower more under-represented community of women in tech, highlighting their contributions and equipping them with the skills and opportunities to grow

We stand at a pivotal moment in history where Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and other emerging technologies are transforming industries, economies, and societies at an unprecedented pace. While these advancements present incredible opportunities, they also bring challenges, particularly regarding gender inclusion and equity in tech. The theme “Redefine Possible” is about pushing past limitations, challenging traditional norms, and expanding the horizons of what technology can and should be. It is about giving women a voice in shaping the future, ensuring diversity in AI development, and breaking down the systemic barriers that have historically limited access and representation.

Women are not only adapting to technological advancements but are also leading the charge, innovating solutions, and ensuring ethical and inclusive development. Through this event, we aim to highlight their stories, provide hands-on learning opportunities, and create an environment where ideas can thrive.
