About

The Google Developer Groups on Campus (GDGoC) at Sophia University is a vibrant and inclusive community where students come together to explore, learn, and innovate in the world of technology. Our mission is to create opportunities for students to develop their skills, collaborate with like-minded peers, and work on impactful projects that bridge the gap between academia and the tech industry. Whether you’re a coding expert, a designer, a problem-solver, or just curious about tech, GDGoC Sophia University welcomes students from all backgrounds and skill levels.

Through workshops, hackathons, speaker sessions, and hands-on projects, we aim to provide a supportive environment for students to experiment with new technologies and discover their potential. We also emphasize the importance of peer-to-peer learning and community building, encouraging members to share knowledge and inspire each other. From beginner-friendly sessions on programming basics to advanced discussions on cutting-edge technologies, GDGoC Sophia University caters to a diverse range of interests and expertise levels.

As a chapter of the global Google Developer Groups program, we take inspiration from Google’s mission to foster innovation and share knowledge within the tech community. However, GDGoC Sophia University operates independently, and our activities, events, and opinions are not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, the corporation.

Our goal is to empower students to not only excel in their academic pursuits but also gain the practical skills and confidence needed to thrive in today’s dynamic tech landscape. By joining GDGoC Sophia University, you’ll have access to a network of passionate individuals, resources to support your growth, and a platform to showcase your talents.
