The Google Developer Student Club (GDSC) - RIT powered by Google Developers is a student-led group that aims to inspire students in the field of technology. Our community is open to any student in any discipline wishing to advance their skills in developer technology and no prior developer experience is required to be a part. We provide workshops, events and hands-on projects that support and empower all university students who are passionate in growing as a developer to solve real-time problems and increase their knowledge on developer products.

Google Solutions Challenge

Google Developers is hosting its annual Google Solution Challenge 2024. The challenge prompt is to solve for ANY one or more of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals using ANY Google Tech.

> Top 3 winning teams receive $ 3000 cash prize per team member + swag

> Top 10 winning teams receive $ 1000 cash prize per team member + swag

> Top 50 teams receive personalized mentorship from Google + swag

STEP 1. Join the official RIT GDSC Platform here: https://gdg.community.dev/gdg-on-campus-rochester-institute-of-technology-rochester-usa/  (required step to register for solution challenge)

STEP 2. Register for the Google Solution Challenge 2024

STEP 3. Build a team of up to 4 members for Google Solution Challenge projects.

STEP 5: You can use any hackathon to build your project submission for the Solutions Challenge
