We are thrilled to announce the launch of the second year of the GDG on Campus chapter at Politehnica University of Bucharest. While last year was just the beginning, we're now gearing up to build a vibrant community of tech enthusiasts right here on campus.

GDG on Campus

Google Developer Groups (GDG) on Campus are university-based communities for students interested in Google's developer technologies. All students, from beginners to advanced developers, are welcome to join and contribute.

Who We Are

GDG on Campus Politehnica Bucharest is a student-led community dedicated to fostering growth in tech skills, innovation, and problem-solving. Our mission is to bring together students who are passionate about technology to learn, collaborate, and build innovative projects.

No Expertise Required

We believe that you don't need to be an expert to make a difference—neither are we! What matters is your passion and eagerness to explore and learn more about technology. Whether you're just starting out or have some experience in the field, there's a place for you in our community.

Because we're all learning together, we'll start with workshops on foundational topics that we consider to be important throughout the academic years. As we grow and learn, we'll gradually delve into more complex subjects and even explore Google technologies.

Our Team

Our core team is growing, and here are our current members:

• Organizers: Uritu Andra-Ioana & El-Ghoul Layla
• Technical Lead: Pasare Theodora-Maria : 3D modeling and printing, drone workshops, embedded systems, and more.
• Communications Lead: Petre George-Alexandru: PR, marketing, interview and CV counseling.

We are looking for enthusiastic students to join our team! Whether you want to take on a leadership role or contribute as a volunteer, there's a place for you at GDG on Campus Politehnica Bucharest.

Volunteer Opportunities

Not ready for a core team position? We welcome volunteers who want to contribute more than just attending events. Volunteering is a great way to gain experience, develop new skills, and enrich your CV.

Please note that GDG on Campus is not an NGO, so volunteering does not involve contracts, grades, or credit points—just a chance to gain experience and be part of the community.
