Google Developer Student Club HITAM is a non-profit developer group powered by Google Developers to enable students to learn, share, connect, and develop skills. In line with HITAM's Doing Engineering methodology, GDSC helps students bridge the gap between theory and practice. By joining GDSC HITAM, students grow their knowledge in a peer-to-peer learning environment and build solutions for local businesses and communities.

Lalan Kumar, a third-year CSE (IoT) student at HITAM, has been officially nominated as Google Developer Student Club Lead for the year 2023-24. HITAM, as a hub for emerging technologies and multi-disciplinary engineering, has various initiatives that encourage students to play an active part in learning futuristic skills, making them industry-ready.

HITAM got its inaugural GDSC chapter in 2022, since then GDSC HITAM has been actively working towards its goal by providing students access to the latest technologies.
