We are thrilled to welcome you to our dynamic and inclusive community dedicated to bridging the gap between theory and practice in technology. At Google Developer Groups on Campus - AKSU, our mission is to provide students with opportunities to enhance their technical and non-technical skills through a range of engaging activities. We offer informative talks and hands-on workshops covering areas such as Machine Learning, Android Development, Web Development, Google Cloud, and much more, tailored to both beginners and advanced learners.

Our commitment extends beyond technical expertise; we also focus on vital non-technical skills and topics such as startups, internships, and entrepreneurship. We are passionate about empowering women in tech and providing more opportunities for ladies in AKSU to explore and excel in the tech field. As part of the Google Developer Groups on Campus (GDGOC) initiative, which has been a key part of our university's tech culture since 2019, we aim to make a significant impact on our community and beyond.

Akwa Ibom State University, with its Main Campus at Ikot Akpaden and the Obio Akpa Campus, offers a rich environment for learning and innovation. Whether you are a budding developer, a seasoned coder, or someone with no prior coding experience, GDGOC-AKSU provides a platform for growth and collaboration. Our activities include:
