About GDG Los Angeles:

Google Developer Groups (GDGs) bring together developers and technologists to connect, learn, and grow alongside Google's technologies and experts. These groups support innovation and growth in the tech world by providing opportunities to learn, share knowledge, and collaborate. We are a diverse community of software developers, designers, technical project managers, educators, and students with a keen interest in emergent technologies. Our areas of focus include mobile, web, wearables, cloud-native computing, education technology, data sciences, and smart homes.

Events and Activities:

GDG Los Angeles hosts a variety of events, including tech talks and demos that explore concepts and best practices, as well as hands-on hacking sessions that involve coding and collaboration. We also organize flagship events such as 'Extended' and 'DevFest'.

Community and Collaboration:

To amplify our impact, we partner with leaders in the local and regional business and technical communities, as well as Google Developers. While our talks may feature Google-developed technology, we also cover other technologies, products, and platforms. Our focus is on fostering collaborative communities and exploring exciting technologies that our developers can engage with. We also closely partner with Google's Women Techmakers Ambassadors (WTM) to present diverse and inclusive content, such as supporting WTM's International Women's Day initiative. https://developers.google.com/womentechmakers

Our Goals:

The primary goals of GDG Los Angeles are to present informative content,  and create networking, collaboration, and entrepreneurial connections for technology enthusiasts throughout the Los Angeles area. If this resonates with you, come check us out!
