GDG Cloud Mbarara is an open and volunteer tech community where we create exciting projects and share resources and experiences about Google technologies with passion. We create and organize events, conferences, hackathons, and workshops in Mbarara, Uganda, to spread technology knowledge and improve the country's developer landscape.
In addition, the vast majority of these events are free, because we believe that knowledge should not face a greater barrier than the interest of those who want to learn it. We collaborate in spreading other tech communities (GDEs, Women Techmakers, etc) to make technology in Uganda a strong muscle and actively contribute to the development within our society.
