Tips for Preparing Laptops and Tools for Hands-on Workshops?

Hi everyone,
As we get closer to Google Cloud Next Extended, I’m wondering how others prepare for the hands-on workshops.

✅ Are there specific tools, SDKs, or platforms you recommend installing ahead of time?
✅ Any tips to avoid setup issues during live sessions?
✅ How do you organize your notes and code so you can apply the learning afterward?

Looking forward to your advice—let’s help each other be ready!

hey i'm a student and know nothing about google cloud, so have no advice, moreover can i attend the event just as a begineer?

Yes, these events are the same for beginners and seasoned developers. Beginners are always encouraged to take part in these events, so that you get the latest update of what's happening inside the Google Cloud's space. Moreover, you can get a how know of things about Google Cloud, so that you don't end up struggling to understand the concepts being discussed in the event.

Goodluck!

Hey there, as far as I know, you must have a Gmail account, that'd allow you to sign up for Google Cloud, and must have a code editor of your own choice, it is mentioned you can install "VS Code or Android Studio"

About the tips to avoid setup issues during live sessions, you should have a backup wifi/mobile data connection source, and creating Google Cloud account is a plus, until or unless they ask you to sign up using a QR code or special link.

And about organizing the code, you can understand the code first, then note it down when they give you the time to, and take time after each keynote, to add references and comments to your code, so that you can understand it later.

Goodluck for your day!
