We are proud to be hosting the 2021 International Women's Day Celebration, a women's tech conference. This event will highlight the stories of our growing female community of designers, developers, and technology entrepreneurs. The International Women’s Day theme of 2021 for Women Techmaker's groups all over the world is “Courage to Create”. To support that theme we have invited some incredibly courageous and inspiring female leaders in our network to share their experiences, learnings and failures. Keynotes: "Effective Leadership" - Leaders have a vision, they stand for honesty and integrity. They can also motivate and inspire, which is why they play such an important role in shaping their teams. Maya Kletzin, Anne Penning, and Stephanie Pietzonka from Cofinpro AG report on what leadership means to them, giving an overview of different tools they use in order to lead successfully. "Leading through Change and Challenge" - "The only constant is change." So how do we plan our careers, build excellent products, or lead with authenticity when there are major upheavals? By making flexibility our number one skill and embracing unexpected changes as opportunities rather than challenges. We cannot stop things from changing, but we can stop reacting and start preparing for the inevitable even while it's unknown. Danielle van Dyke from Google shares her insights on new ways of working.
