About this event

In celebration of Ada Lovelace Day, we are showing:
- a 15 min TEDx presentation by Zoe Philpott, "Ada Lovelace: The Original Women in Tech" followed by
- a 20 min documentary "The Computers", a story about six brilliant young women who programmed the first all-electronic, programmable computer, the ENIAC. More info about the documentary:

Join us at XING, in celebrating this day and raising awareness of women who changed the world by making programming easier and more accessible.

Ada Lovelace Day is an international celebration of the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). It aims to increase the profile of women in STEM and, in doing so, create new role models who will encourage more girls into STEM careers and support women already working in STEM.
