About this event

We would like to invite you to our last Women Techmakers Meetup of the year hosted by NEW WORK SE (former XING SE).

PLEASE BRING YOUR LAPTOPS this time as we want to do a hands-on-coding-session where you will build your own holiday cards using the language of your choice. You also need a text-editor (installation instructions: https://atom.io/).

The event is designed for beginners with no coding experience while those of you with coding experience please join us as mentors or join us to create something more fancy and motivate others.

We will split up the Meetup into smaller groups:

▶ One group will use the block-based visual programming language Scratch also used to teach kids how to code
▶ another group will use HTML & CSS
▶ another group will also use Vanilla JavaScript

After the coding session we will have an open presentation of what we created and as always enough time for networking.

Please, join us! Invite a friend as well!

▶ Scratch: Senta Terner (moinworld e.V.)

▶ HTML & CSS: Samira Stein (NEW WORK SE)
