About this event

Entrepreneurship is about designing the world that you want to live in.

Don’t worry about what you think the business world laid out before you looks like. Stop and ask yourself what would make you happy. And design that… You’ll be amazed by how many will be drawn to somebody who is doing things differently and enabling others to do things differently.

"We live in a world where the default setting is always male. Design the world you want to live in. Because when we do that, the men will desperately want to be a part of that as well " (Cindy Gallop)

Let's be a garden for new ideas on this evening and meet cool people to work on the problems out there to solve.

OUR SPEAKER OF THE NIGHT WILL BE ALEXANDER RENNER – SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER @ XING

Born and raised in the Brandenburg area in Germany, Alexander started studying first in Dresden and later at the Ulm University of Applied Science in the field of Digital Media.

While studying he was able to spend some time abroad in Memphis, Tennessee to work at the FedEx Institute of Technology with a focus on helping non-profit organizations. After completing his study in Ulm, he moved to Frankfurt to start working as a Designer and UX expert for digital products. He worked for companies such as Musicload and Deutsche Telekom. In 2014 Alexander was asked to take a new challenge and join XING in Hamburg. At XING Alexander has shifted roles and grew from interaction designer to a senior product manager and is a great value for the company. He recently started studying part-time again and is a big fan of working on IoT products & ideas in his spare time.

His background and knowledge in creating product concepts, design thinking and successful product releases make him a perfect speaker for our meet up. He will share his idea for product development and will guide us through the world of idea development, conceptual thinking and hands-on tips.
