WTMB: Android Study Jam (Work and present your projects)

Women Techmakers Berlin
Tue, Jun 19, 2018, 7:00 PM (CEST)

About this event

Welcome to Women Techmakers Berlin's Study Group!

This is the last event of this Android Study Jam season!

On this last session we will give you time to work a bit more on your projects, then we will encourage you to present them :-) It does not matter if it does not work or it is incomplete, what matters is that you tried!

We have some little prizes (Android figurines!) that we will raffle with the attendees who attended at least one session previous this one and present something. So even if you think your project is not good, you still have a chance to win ;-)

If this is your first time attending, you will be free to present but you won't be in the pool for presents, as they are for the ones who took part on the course before.

Hope to see you there!

How we work

We will meet Tuesdays from 19:00 to 21:00 for six weeks.

During the six scheduled sessions, we will follow the codelab Build your first Android app in Kotlin and we will go step by step through all the content. See the agenda below.

Working at home is not required but is encouraged.

Android developers, named as coaches, will be present on the study jam session to help the students.

We recommend you to attend to all sessions, but skipping a session and doing the codelab at home is perfectly possible.
