★ What is Hacktoberfest? ★

Hacktoberfest is a month-long celebration of open source software run by DigitalOcean and DEV.
- Hacktoberfest is open to everyone in our global community!
- Four quality pull requests must be submitted to public GitHub repositories for a Hacktoberfest Tshirt to be shipped to your address
- You can sign up anytime between October 1 and October 31, this is just a get together for mentorship and hacking together, but you can alos celebrate Hacktoberfest from home

Hacktoberfest is open to everyone in our global community. Whether you’re a developer, student learning to code, or just curious - you can help drive growth of open source and make positive contributions to an ever-growing community. All backgrounds and skills levels are encouraged to complete the challenge.

★ What can I expect from the event? ★

A group of people from mixed backgrounds from the different Berlin tech communities and levels working on open source contributions together, from correcting typos in documentation, through adding translations, creating tests or contributing to software.

You are welcome to come alone or with friends, for a few hours or a full day. We be there all day and there will be food, WiFi and tables, all you need is your laptop!

Everyone! Beginner, advanced, coder, writer, curious and more, we have place for everyone.
