Collaboration, knowledge sharing and effective communication are key factors to building a great product and designing the user experience. How do cross-functional agile product teams work to create digital automotive products? Join us for a very special evening with Ruba Kharrubi, senior software engineer @ VW Digital Lab and Virginie Caplet, product designer @ VW Digital Lab who will share their insights about the day-to-day practices that empower their team members to be part of shaping the user experience.

Ruba Kharrubi
A software engineer with over ten years of professional experience with a wide range of technologies and development methods. She believes That teamwork is the key factor to solve problems and increase productivity and quality.


Volkswagen Digital:Lab is Part of Group IT. Software is our business, Platform our Passion. Our day is based on empathy, transparency and short feedback loops for both our end-users and teammates. We build software using Lean UX and extreme programming methodologies but most important through small and balanced teams which are enabled to take decisions based on the users’ needs and our company’s goals.


At Women Techmakers Berlin we have been encouraging diversity in tech in Berlin since 2015. We strive for visibility, networking and resources to make the tech community of Berlin inclusive. We are one of the most active chapters of the global Women Techmakers program run by Google.

Our meetup groups are always open to people of all backgrounds, regardless of gender, age, race, expertise, etc. - everyone is welcome!
