About this event

After Ronald van der Lingen’s talk on what’s new in AR/VR at our Extended Extended meetup someone asked why Google wouldn’t release a SDK for AR without the required sensors for Tango. Apparently that question was spot on because not much later Google released ARCore.

ARCore is a platform for building augmented reality apps on Android and is being offered as an early preview so that you can start experimenting with building new AR experiences.

Immediately Ronald started digging in the API’s and is more than happy to show us what it’s all about. So if you’re interested in what ARCore has to offer or just curious in AR in general this is the meetup for you.
