About this event

On Saturday January 21st we are meeting up at TQ for a new edition of Hack away for a day. This time our focus will be Firebase! Apart from a great Firebase t-shirt the best Firebase hack project team (of max 3 people) will be rewarded with a great Android Things kit including a RPI 3 + a Rainbow Hat!

Do you have any questions regarding Firebase, have you played around with Firebase or do you have something really cool that you made Firebase? Come join us and show and tell!

Firebase Google Developer Expert Stefan Hogendoorn will also join the party and give a presentation on Firebase. If there's anyone you can ask a question about Firebase, it's him!

"An Introduction to Firebase" (Stefan Hogendoorn)
For some Firebase is part of the daily activities, for some Firebase is new. In today's introduction we'll do a  quick overview of '
What is Firebase' and how to build cool applications. What to look out for when modelling your data, how to implement authentication and everybody's favourite subject: The business of your application.

Even if you're not familiar with Firebase this is the best place and time where you can go through the Udacity course Firebase in a weekend. Johan and Jairzinno wil do a quick overview of what you'll learn in this course and how easy it is to integrate Firebase in their talk "Firebase in 25 minutes"

TQ will provide an awesome working space. We'll bring the drinks, lunch and snacks so you can focus on hacking away the whole day.

The co-working space is open from 10:00am - 5:00pm.

Lunch is somewhere between 12:00pm and 1:00pm, but of course you are free to simply grab a sandwich and continue coding!
