About this event

Most Flutter devs know that Widgets are an immutable configuration for a piece of app UI. But how does that configuration actually get consumed? And how does Flutter efficiently update your app's interface when you rebuild widgets? In this talk, you'll look beyond the widget tree to elements, state objects, and render objects, and learn how Flutter is architected to process large subtree changes and still maintain 60fps.

Flutter friends from Chicago, let's welcome Andrew Brogdon from the Flutter team at Google! This is an incredible opportunity for our local community! I can't thank Andrew enough for making the effort to visit us and share his knowledge with us!

Happy coding! 👩‍💻👨‍💻
