About this event

Agenda:
6:00-6:30: Socialize Food and announcements
6:30-7:45: Codelab/Workshop
Bio:
Yulan is a Developer Advocate for Google’s Data Studio. She first learned to code through SQL GROUP BY statements and RNA-sequencing, and has since traded beakers and pipets for ridiculously complex dotfiles and data visualization. Prior to Google, she’s worked in research, event management, and government data science. When not computerating, she can be found reading, hosting dinner parties, and playing piano. You can find her on Twitter at y3l2n.

Abstract:
Data Studio is Google’s serverless business intelligence and data visualization platform. Community Visualizations provide a way to write custom data visualizations for Data Studio, and Community connectors allow you to connect data from different APIs to Data Studio Dashboards. This workshop will be an opportunity to work through the self-paced codelabs for Community Visualizations and Community Connectors with a Data Studio Developer Advocate nearby to provide an opinionated introduction, answer questions, and give additional context.
