We are very excited to announce that this is the 2nd consecutive Google I/O Extended in Tacloban, Leyte!

Google I/O is an annual event hosted by Google to highlight the latest in technology and product innovation. This covers topics such as the IoT, working with material design, advancements in mobile technology, and more.

Google encourages other communities to create our own recap-event featuring talks and hands-on workshop on the latest technologies. In Tacloban, we'll take this opportunity to stream the keynote from Google, but also to pull together Leyte's local tech community.

The conference will be different from I/O's of the past, with a focus on networking, good food, and an atmosphere for learning. This year, GDG Cebu made I/O extended a paid event to level up the experience for everyone and making sure they get the best of the conference experience.

Your registration will get you access to all activities on that day of the event - including lunch, refreshments, and after-party for those attending the evening. We'll also be hosting a booth doing complementary, professional head-shot photos, so dress for success and get ready to level up your tech conference experience!

This year, GDG Cebu decided to take our events to the next level. We believe learning should be always free. However, to provide you the best environment, food, and swags, we need to collect fees that will ensure you have the best experience. Schedule

Our schedule will be announced very soon. We will post it on our website and on Google Calendar. Check-in on July 21st will be from 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM. The event will conclude by 6:00 PM.

Speakers

We are bringing another batch of great speakers from SEA Region this year. There will be more advanced talks that will level up your Development Skills on Google Technologies. We will announce them very soon. We will also have CodeLabs workshop for you to code-all-day fun activities and rewards will be given to awesome coders.

Parking Instructions

There are many great transportation and parking options for Google I/O Extended Cebu! In case you are bringing your own car, feel free to park anywhere near the Oakridge Pavillion. In case the parking is full you can use the Oakridge Business Park Parking spaces.
