The DevFest season is here and GDG Cloud Vancouver is hosting our own DevFest at Hootsuite.

This year, we got exciting lineups, events, workshops, and lots of swags, so be sure to come and enjoy your worth.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided on both days

Day 1

Vikram's End to End machine learning presentation and workshop:

The morning will consist of an overview presentation on machine learning.

After lunch, we will start by developing a Machine Learning model using TensorFlow, training and deploying it on Google Cloud and then finally use it to get inferences.

Day 2

Day 2 will be full of Presentations and workshop, from top talents all around North America.

Speakers:

Vikram Tiwari : Building scalable web and data platforms for high availability, resilience, and security. Co-founder, Tech @omnilabsinc #GDE @GoogleCloud and #MachineLearning

Dan Baran : Dan Baran is the lead developer at Sun Chemical. He is focused on developing and maintaining their websites and apps. He is also the organizer of GDG Chicago. Technical related passions include data, data visualizations and has recently dug in to the world of Machine Learning.

Adam Zionts : Adam is a cloud systems engineer at Apollo GraphQL, building out Apollo Engine, an observability and collaboration platform for GraphQL.

Margaret Maynard-Reid : Margaret Maynard-Reid is a Google Developer Expert(GDE) for Machine Learning, and she develops Android apps with intelligence. She leads GDG Seattle and co-organizes Seattle Data/Analytics/Machine Learning meetup groups. She writes blogs and speaks at conferences on TensorFlow, deep learning and Android. She is passionate about community building and helping others get into Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Grant Timmerman : Grant is a developer platform engineer at Google where he leads open source for G Suite APIs. He loves Node, GitHub, and plays the alto saxophone in his spare time.

Faina Shpund : Faina is a product manager with an entrepreneurial mindset and passion for building products, processes and teams. Faina has 15 years of experience in tech, and holds a Management of Technology MBA from SFU. Her portfolio includes EA, Bazinga, PNI, and a number of tech startups. Faina helps startups and entrepreneurs launch products and provides guidance in both feature sets and implementation management aspects.

Evgenia Fine : Evgenia has over 12 years of experience in tech, building software products that customers love together with awesome tech teams. Her portfolio includes Microsoft, nCrypt, BuildDirect, and a number of local tech start-ups. She is currently a Sr. Product Manager at Realtor.com. She is also an entrepreneur, product consultant and educator with passion to empower everyone around to be the best version of themselves.
