As Kotlin is the preferred language for Android, I will share about very basic syntax to more advanced uses for functions, class scenarios, and delegation including best practices for working with generics, asynchronous programming etc. Understand the approach that makes Kotlin so extensible and unique compared to other JVM languages. After this session you will have a good base to start building or enhancing some serious Kotlin based app.
Biswa is a curious but Solution-oriented Android Engineer working at The Teaching Company, who enjoys working around Mobile platform. He started working on Android pre Honeycomb(Fragment). In his spare time he is enjoying running in the trail, biking, volunteering in community.

There is free parking at the original Capital One Headquarters building (1680 building, as they have not opened parking to the new building yet, which is where the Meetup is). Park there, then walk towards the largest Capital One building (1600 building). Take the first floor elevator to the 7th floor and walk around the floor until you see Maplewood Hall on the right hand side. No need to sign in.
