Introduction to Microservices Architecture and Message Queues
In the last few years we have seen how new architecture patters have arisen in order to better serve the latest technology trends. One of the most popular ones is Microservices Architecture, where a set of small, independent and modular services interact with each other to serve a business goal. In this talk we will give an overview of how do microservices work, why and when to use them, and how to orchestrate them using message queues.
Arturo Calvo is a Technology Architect at Accenture. He combines 13 years of experience as a software engineer in startups, academia and multinationals in 5 different countries. He founded 3 startups in the past, and he is a mentor at different entrepreneurship programmes. His interests include Artificial Intelligence, Microservices, Design Thinking and Lean Startup.
