Understanding of programing languages and being able to present information in the digital format over the internet is a must required skill. Although many university students get privilege to learn basic skills in web development, not many students in schools get a chance to learn the skills in a practical environment. Among that, very less percentage of female school students get a chance to get inspired and learn from female role models in the country who can help them to fill the skill gap.
Girls’ Coding Bootcamp is a collaborative project by Women Techmakers Sri Lanka chapter and IEEE Women in Engineering Sri Lanka section to address the above challenge.
