Women Techmakers Pune is excited to announce an introductory workshop for CMS.

In this workshop you’ll develop a custom site starting from scratch. Basically, you’ll take a static front-end HTML/CSS template and do all the necessary magic to have that site running live and dynamic using Wordpress.

- Understand the capabilities CMS.

- Install Wordpress on your PC

- Navigate around the Wordpress dashboard, know what everything does and how to use it.

- Create pages and posts

- Learn basic HTML and CSS 

- Develop a custom website from scratch

- Learn how to customize navigation

- Understand how to leverage the Wordpress plug-in library 

Prerequisites :

Bring your own laptop or you might need to pair with someone. It would be nice to have WAMP server pre-installed
