LiveData is an observable data holder class. Unlike a regular observable, LiveData is lifecycle-aware, meaning it respects the lifecycle of other app components, such as activities, fragments, or services. This awareness ensures LiveData only updates app component observers that are in an active lifecycle state.

In this talk we will go over build types, build variants and product flavors in your app's build configuration. Configuration of gradle builds in an app can be useful during app development and management. We then take a look into how these configurations can be useful in creating template apps.
