A basic interaction for the Google Assistant requires no codeand both technical and non-technical attendees can build interactions! To build these, we will be using DialogFlow (https://dialogflow.com/) and Actions on Google (https://developers.google.com/actions/).
We’ll have a TechTalk on how to use Actions on Google (https://developers.google.com/actions/) and DialogFlow (https://dialogflow.com/) followed by a codelab to show you how to make your own Google Assistant interaction! After we have some experience with the tools, you will focus on creating your vision for the Google Assistant!
It’s not required but we recommend working in a team. You can show up without one and find teammates the day of, but if you want to try to find teammates ahead of time, signup for our Slack at https://slack.gdgkc.org/ and start talking on #women-techmakers channel.
