FAQs

**Should I bring anything with me?
We highly recommend bringing a laptop with you but that's not a requirement if you just want to take in the content, keynotes, and lunch. If you want to follow along with the codelabs and tech talks before and after the keynote, you can do so with your own device. Machines won't be available to check out.

If you will be bringing your own machine to code along with the discussions, it's recommended to install any requisites listed here ahead of time:
- Either Android Studio (https://developer.android.com/studio) or Visual Studio Code (https://code.visualstudio.com)
- For the morning Flutter codelab, the latest Flutter SDK (https://flutter.dev/docs/get-started)

**What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking is limited and first come first serve at the Google Fiber Space - 1814 Westport Road. Street parking is available on nearby side streets (Bell St, Genessee St, Wyoming St) as well on Westport Road. We ask you do not park in the church lot to the East, adjacent lot to the Google Fiber parking space. Thanks!

**Will all sessions be streamed or just the keynote?
We are only streaming the main keynote and the developer keynote. Before and between those, there are some fun tech talks and codelabs planned for attendees. Any sessions that are streamed live from I/O will also be available to watch later on the Google Developers YouTube channel and I/O website.

**How can I get my work to let me attend?
We have a Justificaiton Letter you can fill out and present to your employer so you can join us! Copy and update the text from this document into an email to send to your employer: https://goo.gl/4l9SJj

**Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
If you've already printed your ticket, that will work. If not, you can help reduce waste by providing your digital ticket via the Eventbrite app or the PDF sent via email.
