About this event

Founded in 2009, Google Developer Group Shanghai has been working on Tech Women
Influence on the whole society for over 5 years and maybe the earliest developer group to encourage women power in China! The core organizers of GDG Shanghai are women, and we girls has led many interesting events which helped a lot of male developers.

That’s why we believe WTM is a festival for
women in IT industry and we stick to that – women can make things different.

Every year, we made WTM a big gathering for geek women, a festival as well as a party, where we always try more stories sharing instead of coding itself. The more guest speakers we met, the more surprised we got—ladies in IT area are just fabulous as they are!

That’s why we highly encourage you to come. Come to join our tech women group. We wanna create a land for girls who are
interested in technology and are willing to share.

“I AM REMARKABLE” will be our 2019 theme. We got the inspiration of this theme from a Women will Workshop initiated by Google and we just love it. Fei (our GDG organizer) has experienced the workshop in Tokyo and she wanna import this form for all tech women.
