About this event

When we think of natural language processing (NLP), usually supervised techniques such as text classification, named entity recognition, sentiment analysis, etc. pop into our heads. Unsupervised NLP algorithms are not as ubiquitous but can be an important addition to your data science toolkit!

For our September technical talk, we will be exploring unsupervised NLP techniques with Rachael Tatman from Kaggle. She will be sharing how she uses these methods to analyze Kaggle forum posts.

Tentative agenda:
6:00 - 6:30 Networking
6:30 - 6:45 Lightning talk
6:45 - 7:45 Main Talk
7:45 - 8:00 Q&A
