We are excited to host two great talks this month.

Cloud functions with Firebase (Oleg Kalugin)

Have you been curious about this new "serverless" architecture trend? Or maybe you've been meaning to host your project in the cloud, but didn't feel like managing the servers/infrastructure code? Or maybe you're just looking to save money on your existing hosting. Whichever it might be, we've got a talk for you!

Cloud Functions for Firebase lets you automatically run backend code in response to events triggered by Firebase features and HTTPS requests. We'll dive into what makes it tick, how its features can be used in different types of projects, and will look at a real life example.

Introduction to Angular (Alain Chautard)

Alain will go through an introduction to the Angular framework. If you don't know anything about Angular, that's a perfect opportunity to learn all of the basics and get you started with Angular! Alain will talk about TypeScript, components, services, pipes, and how to work with Angular CLI through live coding.
