About this event

[VIRTUAL EVENT - stay tuned for URL]

Join us on April 14 for 2 talks - a talk on the open source Istio service mesh with Hussain Chinoy from Google Cloud & and stay for a discussion and recap of Google Cloud Next 2020 conference held earlier that week.

Service meshes are an abstraction of security and networking for microservices architectures. Istio is an open source service mesh adopted by Google, IBM, RedHat, SAP and others. This talk describes the reasons when (and when not!) to adopt a service mesh and a demo of a few features of Istio.

BIO: Hussain Chinoy is a Cloud Customer Engineer at Google Cloud and has been working in the app dev and API space for many years. As a former organizer for GDG Northern Colorado, he's passionate about education. He lives in Fort Collins and enjoys long drives.
