We have 2 talented speakers/developers who are coming to the Bronx to share their knowledge and experience with bootcamps, startups, careers, React.js, Blockchain and more!

NOTE: Bring your laptop if you plan on coding along to build an app.

Come follow the talks, pick the brains of our speakers after to learn more, and see what opportunities may arise.

Hands-on React.js! Intro to React basics, then build a "gif search" app.
Speaker is David Ashe, a software engineer for American Express. He has written Java, javascript, sql & css for lunch money. He wishes he knew more golang.

Startup Talk and Blockchain Development Workshop with edChain and Byte Academy

Kenso Trabling, lead instructor at Byte Academy Python, FinTech and Blockchain coding school, and part of the development team for edChain, the first distributed network for learning and careers, will lead this session. Kenso will provide an introduction to blockchain then guidance on creating an app using the edChain open source platform.

Kenso will also answer any questions regarding Byte Academy’s programs including its new Blockchain School, “The Blokchain Lab at Byte Academy,” summer cohorts, career services and tuition reimbursement job guarantee.
