About this event

We will be offering a hands-on introduction to Earth Engine workshop. These workshops are best suited for researchers at Australia institutions that are already familiar with some form of Earth observation / remote sensing data analysis techniques.

This is a free workshop, but space is limited, so there's a chance we won't be able to accommodate everyone. As demand is likely to be high it is really important that you attend if you register, or cancel your registration at least a week prior so we can reallocate your spot.

The workshop is only available for in-person attendance. It will not be streamed and will not be available online.

Please bring your laptop (and charging cable).

All sessions will be conducted in English.

For any questions please email gee-australia-workshops@google.com. To cancel your booking follow the link in your email confirmation or email us.

Noel will also be running in-person office hours at Google Melbourne on Thursday 5 September. These are short (20 minute) sessions where Noel can help with issues, coding problems or other general questions. These are only being offered in-person at Google Melbourne, 161 Collins Street. Check Noel's availability and make a booking here

Catering - Lunch and morning / afternoon tea will be provided.

How to get there - The workshop is being held at CSIRO's Clayton site, Research Way, Clayton. The workshop will be in Building 121 but visitors will need to report to CSIRO West Reception. Arrive via Bayview Ave and use the Research Way Gate. Head to the parking lot in the SW corner of the site if driving, and then make your way to CSIRO West Reception to register.
