The next GCP Meet Up is confirmed to take place on Thursday, August 2nd 6:30pm at Plant NOMA. Taking place a week after Google Cloud Next in San Francisco, we will be looking at covering some of the news, releases and updates that come out of the three day exhibition.
Confirmed to speak at the event are:
Ian Pattison - Customer Engineer at Google. Ian will be looking at what some of the new releases mean for customers, with a particular focus on the retail sector. Expect demos and use cases.
Adam Wood - GCP engineer at CTS. Adam will be taking a look at some of the technical releases revealed at Google Next and touching on what excites him the most with a possible live demo to boot.
Shaun Hall - Head of R&D and DevOps at The Hut Group. With an ecommerce platform that gets 15 million hits per day, Shaun will be looking at how they use GCP to power recommendations, personalisation and A/B test analysis on their sites.
The Hut Group will kindly be providing refreshments, so you'll have the chance to network over a few beers and a slice of pizza (or two) after!
If you are lucky enough to be going to Next and would like to share your experience with the group please get in touch.
