Cloud Next’19 Extended: Machine Learning Fundamentals

Making sense of a messy world! Machine learning is a powerful tool for solving problems and making sense of the messy repeatable data around us. Hard logical rules are not the way to solve really interesting real-world problems, there's a whole raft of different approaches and in fact, it's probably not one technique for everything, it's a bunch of different techniques and combinations of them.

Cloud Next’19 Extended: Machine Learning Fundamentals will include some of those techniques and helping you to take your first steps in ML:

1- Why Machine Learning?
2- Supervised Learning
3- Unsupervised Learning
4- Reinforcement Learning
5- Why deep learning and how it's different from ML.

This session is suitable for you as a participant, if:

You are a strong programmer.
You have fundamental concepts about statistics.
You know at least a little about linear algebra and calculus.
You are somewhat familiar with Python. You don't need to be an expert.

Requirements
Study Jams are designed to achieve an incredible amount of progress in a very short time. Feedback from our events around the world has shown us that practice makes perfect and it is more fun to learn if we can get our hands dirty.

The quota is limited and that is why we ask you to read the application criteria:

Have programming fundamentals and know Java or Python.
Apply and be accepted into the session
Bringing a laptop to the event: Mac, PC, Chromebook, Linux, everyone is welcome.
Computer charger.
For a better experience in the laboratories, it is necessary to have the main browser: Firefox or Chrome.

As usual, this is a FREE session, we aim to make the technology accessible for everyone with no limits. The session will be in Ideaspace Borg Al Arab, Alex.

The transportation details will be announced very soon.
