Can you see the difference between giving permissions and grant a specific role for your GCP resources?
Google Cloud's Identity and Access Management (IAM) service lets you create and manage permissions for GCP resources. Cloud IAM unifies access control for GCP services into a single system and provides a consistent set of operations to adopt the security principle. You don't directly give users permissions; instead, you grant them roles.
